Job Description

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Account Manager to join our client who is based in Bourne on a 15-month Fixed Term contract (maternity cover).The role:The Account Manager is responsible for managing and growing Key Account customers, supplying both own brand and branded products, predominately into the Care, Healthcare & Janitorial sectors. You will be responsible for delivering sales and gross margintargets in line with company objectives. The role entails developing and implementing effective and collaborative growth plans and seeking out opportunities that will maximise profitability and growth through existing customers. The Person:Essential experience and knowledge:

  • 2+ years working as an Account Manager in a customer facing sales role.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
  • Be competent in the use of Microsoft Office programs such as PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral (including presentations).
  • Proven track record of working to KPIs and achieving sales targets
  • Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable working collaboratively cross functionally.
  • Commercially astute and skilled in delivering customer solutions and skilled in budget management.
  • Skilled in developing and maintaining long term excellent customer/client relationships.
