Job Description

If you enjoy creating a well-presented and safe environment, then join the team at Sturt House in Tadworthas a Maintenance Assistant and be a valued member of the service.As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of maintenance is achieved in all areas. You will also be responsible for ensuring all aspects of health and safety and operational policies are adhered to.A range of training opportunities are available that can see your career grow and you achieve your career aspirations.Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the ordering and completion of PPM checks on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
  • Co-ordinating and supporting contractors whilst on site.
  • Reviewing daily work sheets and prioritising task accordingly.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Basic numeracy and literacy are minimum requirements for this role.
  • Helpful with a "can do" attitude
  • Ability to adapt - be practical
  • Conscientious and team focused
  • Own transport
  • Maintenance experience or equivalent practical task knowledge is essential
  • May be required to be flexible with hours on occasions
