Job Description

Acoustic Consultant - HertfordshireWe have an exciting opportunity with a specialist Acoustics company who are looking to hire an Acoustic Consultant in the Hertfordshire region! Our client provides a range of services including Sound Insultation Testing & Air Tightness Testing; they require an experienced Acoustic Consultant to join the team due to an increase in workload.Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years consultancy experience in the Acoustics industry.
  • Qualified to MSc/BSc level in Acoustical Engineering, or another relevant discipline.
    • Candidates who have Associate or Full IOA Membership are preferable but not essential.This exciting role will involve:
  • Noise & Vibration Surveys
  • Mentoring of Junior Consultants
  • Project management
  • Fee proposals
  • Noise Modelling using software such as CadnaA
    • My client works on a range of sectors so one day may be completely different from the next, this role is ideal for someone looking to expand their Building Acoustics knowledge!You may be involved in projects such as:
  • Residential Properties
  • Student Accommodation
  • Many other property sectors
