Job Description

Job DetailsOpportunity to join a small but diverse accountancy practice just out side Liverpool city centre. We offer our clients support with all their compliance accounting and tax requirements, as well as bespoke services.We are looking for an accounts clerk to join the team and assist with the accounts preparation to partner review, manage their own work-flow with a portfolio of clients, and be able to liaise and support client directly.Duties and tasks:Preparing accounts for sole traders, limited companies & partnerships for a wide variety of clientsManagement accounts preparationBookkeeping preparation from manual records & reconciling digital dataAssisting clients with queries and reporting to the senior partnerManaging own portfolio of client and monitoring client deadlinesPreparation and filing VAT returns - Not essentialPreparation of payroll including RTI & WPP - Not essentialSkills High level of integrity and ethics.Proficiency in accounting software and tools.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in accounting software and tools.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.Experience

  • AAT Level 4 or qualified by experience
  • Experienced in working within a varied finance position
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Ability to use Excel at a competent level manipulating data
  • Experience with cloud based accounting software would be beneficial
