Older Persons Mental Health Occupational Therapist An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Occupational Therapist to join our Older Persons Mental Health Team on a fixed term contract.The Occupational Therapist in this team will be expected to assess and treat the functional impact of both physical and mental ill health. They will work in partnership with colleagues, as part of the multi-disciplinary & Occupational Therapy team to manage a complex caseload, using evidence based principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions in the community and a local hospital subject to service demand.Opportunities for ongoing professional development are encouraged.A Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy is required as is current HCPC registration.This contract is 30 hours per week for 1 yearNHS Lothian is committed to encouraging equality and diversity among our workforce, and eliminating unlawful discrimination.
