Job Description

Vehicle Technician / MOT TesterBolton, BL3£28,348 pa + overtime + bonus, OTE £34,348 pa.Mon - Fri shifts between 8am and 6pm1-in-4 Sat mornings on rota 8:30am to 12:30pm£2000 welcome bonusRenault Bolton seeks a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join our dealerships workshop.The role involves carrying out routine servicing, maintenance and repairs of cars and vans to the highest standards whilst maintaining optimal efficiencies and first-time fix.Candidates should have

  • own tools
  • Level 3 City & Guilds or NVQs in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualifications, and
  • a full UK Drivers licence
Candidates should preferably have main dealer workshop experience and individuals that also have current DVSA Certification for MOT Testing will be prioritised. Branded workwear and PPE will be provided to the successful applicant.In this job we operate Monday to Friday plus Saturdays on rota in the following pattern:
  • 3 weekdays - 8:30am to 5pm withhr lunch
  • 1 weekday - 8am to 4:30pm withhr lunch
  • 1 weekday - 9:30am to 6pm withhr lunch
  • 1-in-4 Saturday mornings on rota, 8:30am to 12:30pm
In return we offer a £28,348 pa basic salary. This comprises £27,400 pa for weekday work + £948 pa for 1-in-4 Saturday mornings paid at time-and-a-half. Uncapped monthly bonuses are paid on top of this which add circa £4,000-£6,000 pa to your earnings.We are also offering a £2000 welcome bonus to the successful individuals when offered the job on or before 31st March 2023 and commencing work by 21st April 2023.
