Job Description

Technical SEO ManagerLocation | Workplace Policy: Hybrid working with 3 days a week in a modern Bolton tech hubSalary: £35k-£40k with a salary review every 6 months + amazing perksSector: Marketing, Public Relations, DigitalAn up-and-coming digital marketing firm shaking up the search sector, our clients bespoke data-driven approach has received wide acclaim for its ability to boost customer revenue by enticing increases in visibility, exposure, and website traffic.Now, with several high-profile contract wins on the horizon that will drive push the business to the next level, theyre increasing funds into their SEO branches and need an experienced Technical SEO Manager to oversee their ever-growing team.Being a managerial role, youll ideally possess +3 years experience and a willingness to expand your career further alongside the future of digital marketing.Key responsibilities:

  • Continually evaluate customers clients needs and create catered SEO strategies to enable them to reach their potential
  • Oversee your team through line management duties and ensure resources are being allocated correctly, performance remains to a high standard and that career development is being achieved
  • Ensure when creating SEO strategies that Digital PR and Content leads are being looped in
  • Report to clients monthly on results
  • Providing overviews of technical site improvements to the dev team (schema, page speed, etc.)
  • Remain aware of the wider SEO industry and continually strive to improve processes
Key skills needed:
  • + 3 years in a similar SEO Role
  • Prior managerial experience guiding and leading others to success
  • In-depth knowledge of the tangible impacts SEO can bring to clients in both on-site and off-site
  • Understanding of marketing principles (audiences, tone of voice etc.)
  • Experience in SEO strategy creation (forecasting, KPIs setting etc.)
  • Possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven resource allocation skills across your team
  • Self-motivated, ambitious with an analytical mindset
  • Experienced in all the latest SEO tools: Majestic, Ahrefs, GSC, GA, ScreamingFrog, Moz, SEMRush, etc.)
