Could this be youAbout the Role:As a Support Worker at Gresham Court, you will work with people who have varying degrees of learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs and behaviours that challenge. You will support with all aspects of every day living to encourage their independence and support them to lead the most fulfilling life possible, incorporating both therapy and social based activities.Whilst no two days are the same typically, youll help the people we support with the everyday challenges of personal cares, meal preparation, housekeeping, medication, attending health appointments and taking part in hobbies & activities. Crucially, enabling them to carry out tasks, chores and hobbies that most people take for granted but are really meaningful to the people we support.We are able to offer flexible contracts including full time and part time and this role is predominantly to cover day shifts between 7am and 10pm although some night working will be required.Due to the needs of the people you will be supporting, it is essential you have previously worked as a Support Worker with experience of autism and/or challenging behaviour.
