SEN Teaching AssistantBolton Teaching Personnel are currently looking for a qualified, passionate, and enthusiastic, Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant (TA / LSA) who has experience working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), to start workat a mainstream primary school in Bolton.The successful SEND TA / SEND LSA will need to be able to support pupils that may have challenging behaviour, specific learning difficulties or EHCPs. With support from other members of staff, activities will be set by the class Teacher, and you will supportpupils with their progress and attainment.Experience supporting any of the following would be advantageous:ADHDAsperger SyndromeAutism (ASD)Behavioural, Emotional and Social Difficulties (BESD, formerly EBD)Challenging BehaviourDyslexiaEpilepsyGlobal Development Delay (GDD)Hearing Impairment (HI)Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)Multi-Sensory Impairment (MSI)Non-Verbal Learning Difficulties (NLD)Speech and Language DisorderSevere learning difficulties (SLD)Profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD)Visual Impairment (VI).This is a full-time role which will be reviewed on a termly basis, with the school looking to take the desired candidate on a permanent contract. The position is five days a week from 08:30am - 15:30pm.
