Our client is a global equipment supplier and leading the way with providing essential services throughout the recent global pandemic. They are looking forward to welcoming a new member of staff to their Purchasing Department and are looking for an experiencedPurchasing Administrator.You will oversee the full process of ordering through to delivery for this fast-paced role, you will liaise with suppliers & vendors and achieve delivery dates within the customers time frames.Your key responsibilities will involve but not exhaust the following duties:-*Raising purchase orders and placing orders.*Manage supply requisition through contacting suppliers and recording accurate delivery dates and managing customer expectations.*Liaising with internal project managers and being proactive when delays with delivery dates.*Responsible for pricing and updating product codes and information*Coordinating shipments to restrict transactions costs*Recording and producing projected forecasts and performance reports*Liaising with internal departments, setting up new supplier accounts and approving invoices*Consistently looking for innovate processes and identifying continuous improvements for the department.You will be able to demonstrate the following key skills:-IT ExcellenceExceptional written and verbal communicationStrong eye for detailInterpersonal skills - Negotiation, influence and persuasivenessAdaptable to change and able to work to set deadlines with ability to prioritise workload.Exemplary personal standards of working conducts whilst working under pressure.In return our client will offer competitive salary22 Days holiday plus Statutory daysFree on site ParkingBirthday day offGood Transport routes and located within few miles of motorway networkWalk-able distant to retail shopsAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
