Project CoordinatorGlobal Engineering Business 12 month fixed term contract Location: Lancashire - commutable from Manchester, Wigan, Bolton, St Helens, etcExcellent benefits and flexi timeWe are delighted to once again be working alongside, a global organisation who designs and manufacture heavy engineering equipment for a number of organisations around the world. They now have an excellent opportunity for a Project Coordinator to be part ofa global team, initially on a 12 month fixed term contract with the possibility of permanent employment. The Project Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the project managers, coordinating project activities, updating project schedules, and communicating to the project team.The project administrator will report to and assist the Project Management Lead. You will be working closely with the project managers and the project team, so strong communications skills are a must.Responsibilities:Managing the day to day project administration requirements including maintaining project document libraries, documentation control, action item monitoring and project meeting minutes.Maintain project checklists.Administration of the Project Management teams network spaces, web portals and customer specific reporting requirements.Coordination of internal/external customer meetings hosted by the Project Management Team including minutes, preparation of papers and supporting project documentation packs.Follow up and chase project action item responses.Assist project managers with maintaining/updating project schedules.Liaise with Engineering and Supply Chain teams to ensure parts are scheduled in line with project plans.Generate SAP shortage reports, Expediting/Escalating any Issues.Facilitate on-time project reporting, updating and formatting reports.RequirementsMinimum mechanical, electrical, industrial engineering, business HNC (or equivalent) is preferred.Work experience as a Project Administrator or similar role.Experience of working in an Engineering/Manufacturing Industry would be beneficial.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Software.Working knowledge of computer scheduling programs (Such as Microsoft Project).Knowledge of MRPII systems, SAP is an advantage.Apply online or for further information please contact one of our specialist consultants quoting REF: NJR11465
