This long established and high profile, family owned business company is looking for an experienced Production Planner to join them. There is a salary of £28,000 along with free parking and great benefits including private healthcare, pension schemeand free onsite parking.What will you be doing as a Production Planner:Working alongside the Purchasing Manager, you will be delivering weekly production plans to ensure customer demands for products are fulfilled on time. Duties will include: * Creating up to 3 week rolling production plan including issuing and checking initial drafts with all requirements outlined and making amendments as necessary * Working in conjunction with the Purchasing and Planning Assistant to ensure all production orders are added and maintained on the ERP system.* Monitoring the ongoing size of the order book to ensure that the production per line is in hand* Monitoring production progress through the week, working closely with production to strive to complete the plan in full* Attending production shift hand over meetings to determine production achievement vs the plan* When issues arise, discussing options with Production Manager to recover the plan or provide for backup production to utilise available shift staff* Liaising with external customers as necessary* Providing detailed weekly report for the parent company regarding production schedules versus demand* Providing weekly reports of production schedules* Using and generating sales forecasts to update MRP demands within the companys ERP systemWe would LOVE to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:* Strong experience in a similar Production Planner role* Experience of demand planning and data analysis would be beneficial* Strong IT skills with excellent skills in Excel* Experience using an ERP or MRP system, ideally SAPWhat will you get in return for your work as a Production Planner:* A salary of £28,000 * 23 days holiday plus bank holidays* Private healthcare* Free parking* Pension schemeTo Apply:If this sounds like a Production Planner role you will LOVE, please send your CV todayWe aim to respond to all successful applications within 2 days.
