Job Description

Keen for a KS1 Teaching role in Bolton We have the role for you!Tradewind are working with a lovely Bolton school who are looking for a KS1 teacher to join their caring and dedicated team in March 2022. The senior leadership team are looking for someone who has a track record of building strong, positive relationshipswith staff, pupils and families. The role is to cover a member of staff on Maternity leave until the end of the academic year, possibly longer. As the KS1 teacher, you will be paid an above market rate that matches your experience.The team at this school in Bolton are passionate about providing their pupils with engaging and inspiring learning opportunities that develop the childrens personal and academic independence. They utilise exciting, fun activities that help pupils foster alove for learning in a supportive, safe environment, centred around mutual respect. Families are also a large part of teachers push to build independence within their pupils and families are regularly encouraged to support learning at home and attend events.As a KS1 teacher, you will be working closely with your KS1 team to develop highly effective schemes of work and lessons that make an impact on the childrens education. Encouraging them to achieve their full potential and bridge any gaps that may have developedthroughout the pandemic. You will also be required to:

  • Plan and teach a balanced and diverse curriculum.
  • Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupils development, attainment, and personal needs
  • Set high expectations for pupil outcomes.
  • Develop a classroom environment based the school values.
  • Provide a caring and supportive learning environment
