Job Description

Package ManagerOutside IR35 Contract12 Month Contract£280 -320 p/dayBolton (Site Based)A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Package Manager to work within a leading manufacturing organisation based in the Bolton area on an initial 12-month contract basis. My client specialises in powered and blast proof security solutions used within hazardousand secure areas.Package Manager:

  • Management of work packages/systems in support to the engineering, project management and supply chain departments.
  • Coordinating the delivery of multi-disciplined work packages including engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning throughout the full project lifecycle. Cradle to grave management.
  • Leading the package teams to ensure that key project milestones are met in accordance with project budget, timescale and quality.
  • Liaising with Project Management in identifying resources required to deliver the work scope.
  • Managing multidisciplined sub-contractors attending site.
  • Key liaison for external suppliers.
  • Answering and managing all TQs (Technical Queries)
Package ManagerEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
  • Nuclear industry experience
  • Strong commercial awareness working NEC contracts
  • Eligible for SC Clearance
Package ManagerDesirable Experience/Skills/Qualifications:
  • Project management qualification
