MIG Welder Bolton£11.75 - £12.00 per hourTime Recruitment are happy to be assisting a long standing and well established family run business based in Bolton.Having been in business for well over 50 years and seeing continuous growth throughout 2021 they are now looking for well established MIG Welders to join the business.Overall purpose of job:To produce a variety of trailer chassis/parts to required production plan and quality standards while practising good housekeeping and operating within Health and Safety regulationsKey tasks:- To produce trailer chassis;- Ensure all welds are of good quality paying particular notice to the beam mounting and drawbar structures- All holes and bracketing are in the correct position- Drain holes are in place to enable galvanising- Overall finished chassis are to the dimensions of the drawings issued- Check equipment regularly and report any faults to maintenance- Keep work area tidy and operate within Health and Safety regulations at all times- Perform any other duties deemed reasonably requiredKey tasks: Parts:-- To produce trailer chassis parts;- Ensure all welds are of good quality- All parts are made to specified drawings using jigs- All parts of the same type are identical and therefore interchangeable- Check equipment regularly and report any faults to maintenance Supervisor.- Keep work area tidy and operate within Health and Safety regulations at all times- Liaise with materials handlers to ensure parts stock levels in the welding bays do not fall below the agreed acceptable level.- Perform any other duties deemed reasonably required If this is of interest and you would like to discuss more then please click APPLY immediately or call Gary Gittings at Time Recruitment Solutions for more details.
