Roevin Engineering Recruitment, part of Adecco Group, is delighted to be working alongside a world leader in the manufacture of missiles and missile systems. The client is looking to appoint Mechanical Fitters for initial 6 - 12 month contact work to be based in their manufacturing facility in Bolton. Working hours : Monday to Friday 8am till 5.30pm Pay rate : £16.01/ hr PAYE then after 12 weeks rising to £17.01/ hr PAYE The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out manufacturing and test tasks within the mechanical department, in accordance with product certification procedures, defined workmanship standards, allocated budgets and timescales to meet project objectives. Be fully conversant with all equipment, tools and measuring instruments associated with the manufacturing cycle. Ensure manufacturing build times are met. Check and complete all paperwork associated with the manufacturing data pack. Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and product quality. Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the manufacturing process The ideal candidate will hold a formal technical engineering/craft apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21.
