Job Description

Marketing Manager - DigitalDue to exciting growth an opportunity has arisen for a proven Marketing Manager to join a company who are experiencing incredible growth. Based out of their Head Office in Bolton, this person will be responsible for planning and executing the marketing strategy to drive user acquisition, conversion and retention.The CompanyFor their chosen sector, our client is the number one eCommerce Superstore in the UK. Stocking and supplying over 13,000 products and selling to both consumer and trade in the UK, and Internationally to over 100 different countries around the world. Theyre currently in the process of integrating a brand new ERP system and website to take their eCommerce Superstore to the next level.The Ideal Marketing Manager will be responsible for:* Visualsoft: Implement and manage the Visualsoft ecommerce eco system to attract, convert and engage more customers.* Social media: Understand how to establish a community and drive engagement around key social networks. Understand how content resonates with their target audience and drives sharing. Know how to connect with influential people in these networks.* SEO: Must have experience driving traffic via targeted keywords, link building and on-page optimisations. Manage, maintain and increase SEO presence in line with the brand voice.* Email marketing: Be able to generate email address signups using permission marketing. Understand how to drive customer engagement and reconnect with customers using email.* Paid digital marketing: Confident designing, implementing and monitoring effectiveness of PPC / paid social campaigns via the preferred digital agency.* Analytics: You have a great understanding of web analytics and know how to utilise web analytics tools to measure & guide your marketing strategies.* P&L responsibility: The number one KPI is customer acquisition. With a huge focus on cost per lead and cost per conversion (maximising the budget).* Positioning and differentiation: Quickly learn to understand the market, our brand and platform and how to position and differentiate our product and create new channels within the space.* Partner Marketing: Effectively partner with the preferred digital marketing agency and internal team to ensure accountability and performance measures are optimised.* Public relations: You must be able to capture the attention of journalists, bloggers and other influential partners/potential affiliates relevant to the market; you must build and nurture these relationships with a view to generating profitable relationships for all.* Data-driven decision making: You must be comfortable analysing data to support your next strategic decision and acting methodically when delivering your marketing.* Legislation: Ensure all digital marketing complies with the latest regulations and legislation.The Ideal Marketing Manager will have:* A Marketing degree / qualification (or related subject)* Must have at least 2 years managing and running campaigns on social, paid media, PPC to generate and retain a paid user base / subscription background (portfolio to show results)* Proven track record of growing online customer base using all marketing channels* SEO Experience* Well versed in creative content and social media strategy to generate leads* Experience in other channels such as YouTube, podcasting, Vlogs, Video etc.* Comfortable in a fast-paced environment and confident with targets and ROI* Experience liaising and presenting results with partnered agencies and board level colleagues.* A clear track record of delivering marketing campaigns in a B2C environment.* A willingness to keep up to date with legislative changes (we deliver on-going training in this area)Whats in it for youUp to £40,000 - £45,000 basic salary DOEUnrivalled benefitsFantastic working hoursGreat office/company cultureIf you feel you have what it takes to steer this already successful brand through an exciting phase of growth and acquisition, please do not hesitate to send over your CV.
