Job Description

A Manufacturing / Project Engineer (CNC) is required to start as soon as possible at a role in Bolton. This assignment is outside IR35 and will pay c£200-250 per day for up to 6 months.Client DetailsA manufacturing and assembly business based in Bolton.DescriptionAs the Manufacturing / Project Engineer you will be responsible for:

  • delivering a specific/new product to the customer, on time, in full
  • identifying areas for improvements in the CNC machines/processes
  • liaising with multiple departments and a project team to ensure key milestones are delivered
  • continuous improvement with regards to the manufacturing process to ensure efficiency across the factory
  • monitoring elements of the budget (where necessary)
ProfileThe successful Manufacturing / Project Engineer will:
  • Have worked in a similar position within a manufacturing environment - ESSENTIAL
  • Be proficient with CNC machines and their programming - ESSENTIAL
  • Have strong written and verbal communication skills - ESSENTIAL
  • Be immediately available or on a short notice period - ESSENTIAL
  • Hold a relevant engineering qualification - HIGHLY DESIRABLE
  • Have SMED and/or Six Sigma/Lean experience - HIGHLY DESIRABLE
Job OfferThis is an interim position outside IR35 to complete a specific project around CNC machining and will last for c6 months, paying around £200 - £250 per day. It is a days based role to start as soon as possible and is based in Bolton.
