Our client is a leading supplier of renewable energy, clean technology products and pride themselves on making the world a more sustainable place.A position has arose within the logistics department for a Logistics Coordinator,ResponsibilitiesThe Logistics Co-ordinator is responsible for assisting with key tasks within the department including providing the sales team with delivery prices and obtaining an estimated time of arrival and proof of delivery for outbound customer shipments. They willalso be responsible for tasks relating to inbound warehouse deliveries from suppliers such as processing serial number data prior to arrival and monitoring requested arrival dates on solar panel shipments. This role also involves assisting other members ofthe team where required and covering for absences and as part of a growing logistics department, there may be room for adaptation and development of duties. This position is based in the Bolton warehouse office, hours of work are 9am-5pm. SkillsHonesty, reliable and dedicated, Meticulous attention to detail, Strong work ethic, Calm head and problem solver, Excellent communicator, Flexible, Computer and IT literate, numerical skills and technical skills.Core Duties* Calculating bespoke customer delivery price requests for the sales team * Help to identify transport cost savings on customer shipments including forecasted shipments. * Inputting customs details on carriers portal for customer deliveries to Ireland* Supplying ETAs and PODs for customer deliveries * Uploading daily delivery drop sequence report* Completing pricing log for delivery partner* Passing on delivery instructions to carriers* Pro-active checking of timed deliveries on parcel carriers portal* Assisting order processing with any parcel discrepancies reported and creating/updating quality logs* Chasing and uploading supplier flash data to inbound orders prior to arrival* Monitoring and progressing inbound panel shipments* Checking carrier invoices* Cover for warehouse office absencesExperience/skillsets required* Excellent organisation and planning skills* Time management ability* Verbal and written communication skills to a high standard* IT skills* Good attention to detail and a good finisher* Positive attitude* Experience within a logistics role is desirable but not essentialBenefitsPensionSickness22 days Annual leave inc with length of serviceLife AssuranceCharity Day Hybrid working - subject to roleBonus & Commission - profit shareEmployee Assistance programme Annual salary reviewLength of service gifts and birthday celebrationsPerks and DiscountsTraining and Development Christmas PartyIf you are interested in joining please apply immediatelyAdecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
