Job Description

If youre aged between 16 and 47, taking on a Logistics apprenticeship with the Royal Air Force (RAF) could be the perfect role for you!Pay during first 6 months- £16,235+, pay until completion of Phase 2 training- £20,650+, pay after training £22,286+In the RAF, this job role is known as Supplier, you could end up;

  • Working on airfield fuel installations and refuelling aircraft.
  • Providing aircraft with logistical support all over the world.
  • Managing the accounting of high value RAF assets using computerised systems.
  • Managing the storage of secret, dangerous or flammable items.
  • Being competitive for promotion and earning up to £52,837 (top level pay).
If you take on this apprenticeship you will become part of an extraordinary team, be provided with a comprehensive and ongoing on-the-job training package with added opportunity to obtain a number of driving licenses for specialist vehicles. You are guaranteedto learn and develop the skills you need to enable you to support military operations in challenging locations across the globe and at home.Experience needed - None! The RAF will train you over two 10-week phases. On completion of these you will complete a Level 2 Supply Chain Warehousing Operative Apprenticeship with a guaranteed job at the end.The RAF is one of the most inclusive forces in the world, recognising the value of a persons ability no matter their ethnicity, religious beliefs, gender identity or sexual orientation. No previous experience or formal qualifications are required to applyfor this role.What youll get

Logistic Supplier Requirements: Be a citizen of the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland, holder of a dual UK/other nationality or have been a Commonwealth citizen from birth. This is due to the rapid and effective deployabilityof RAF personnel to countries that apply travel restrictions to non-UK personnel. Be between 16 and 47 (Must start training before 48th birthday). No formal qualifications required but subject to an Airman Selection Test.Pass a Fitness test.
