The school have a number of children throughout KS1 and KS2 whom currently hold an Educationand Health Care Plan (EHCP) and who are on the Autistic Spectrum (ASD). The role is full-time working Monday to Friday and the working hours from 08:30-15:30pm with a 30 minute lunch break.The successful candidate must have experience of working with children who have additional needs. Whilst working as a Classroom Buddy you will be expected to undertake all activities as required during their time at the school and be able to work as partof a team as well as being able to use initiative. As a Classroom Buddy you will be undertaking one to one roles with children and working in small groups.If successful, you will work under the guidance of the teaching staff to support access to learning. Work may be carried out in the classroom or outside the normal teaching area.This classroom buddy job will commence as soon as possible. The school would like to see the relationship that is built between the TA and the children, which in turn will help them decide if you are the right fit working with these children.What you need to apply:
