The role will be based in our Bolton office, Plodder Lane, BL4 0NN.A strong and broad ranging technical background is essential as this is a hands-on role with the requirement to implement and maintain technical solutions across Seddons branch office and remote sites.The role requires the ability to deliver on both operational and project tasks, against deadlines and working to industry best practice. The role requires flexibility and the willingness to travel to carry out specific site tasks. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for helping support internal Windows server infrastructure, computer hardware, storage and all other IT services provided by the Seddon IT +Team, all of which is critical for the continuity of the business. Time will be spent enhancing and standardising the environment, resolving BAU problems, finding issues and proposing improvements, as well as planning and executing deployments. Working as part of the IT Infrastructure team you will also be acting as an escalation point for other members of the IT Department.Key responsibilities;
