Job Description

The HR Systems & Services Manager role is a pivotal role in the organisation, leading on the management of an effective HR systems for the organisation whilst rolling out further development and updatesClient DetailsMy client is a respected entity in the Not for Profit and Charities sector, boasting a sizeable workforce dedicated to improving lives. Headquartered in Greater Manchester, they maintain an unwavering commitment to community development and social welfareDescriptionThe HR Systems and Services Manager will report into the Group Director of People, leading on the management of an effective HR systems for the organisation whilst rolling out further development and updates.Working closely with IT colleagues, the role maintains and develops IT data processes within the HR service and improves how the organisation share and manage information. This role also manages the HR Systems and Services administration teams ensuring endto end integrity of organisational and people data and processes

  • Create and manage the roadmap and the ongoing development of the current and future HR systems, including exploring system integration, implementing functionality changes, and introducing automation of processes
  • Optimise reporting tools to extract and analyse data to produce accurate management and statistical information and comply with statutory reporting requirements, whilst developing and implementing KPIs and metrics to ensure effectiveness of performance
  • Manage the HR Services team, ensuring timely and accurate processing of data, and customer support with key services
  • Ensure good contract management and supplier governance of software vendors for HR systems, driving for performance and value
ProfileThe successful HR Systems & Services Manager will have/be:
  • Excellent knowledge of HR Systems, including Payroll, Recruitment and Learning Management modules
  • Experience of developing and maintaining HR systems and reporting tools
  • Demonstrable HR system building skills, including a good understanding of organisation structure, hierarchies, reporting, system administration and development
  • Experience managing a shared service function
  • Good data management skills and knowledge of data compliance including a focus for detail and accuracy
