An exciting opportunity has arisen for aCoroners Officerto provide support to the Coroners office within a well-known and highly respected Local Authority in Bolton. This role is available on a full-time temporary basis.Contract: Ongoing, initially until 31/03/22Hours: 37 per week. 08:15-4:30 Monday to FridayWhats my role- To provide an effective and efficient administration service to the Coroner.- Deal with tasks relating to inquests.- To liaise with bereaved relatives regarding post mortem process.- Discuss, process and accept death reports, including the completion of all relevant documents.-To compile inquest files and liaise with GPs, the Health and Safety Executive and Environmental Health Departments, the Police Service and other agencies as and when required.The successful candidatewill be able to thrive in a fast paced environment. You will possess great attention to detail and be able to multi-task effectively. You will also be proactive, organised and able to empathise with customers.A workingknowledge of medical terminology is strongly desirable.
