An exciting opportunity has arisen for a forward thinking Highly Specialist Neuro Rehab Occupational therapist to join the Neuro Rehab/CFS/ME service and also support in the delivery of the Long Covid pathway for Bolton.The successful candidate will be based at Breightmet Health centre, Bolton and will also be supported to work remotely. You will be an integral part of our Neuro Long term conditions services as well as providing expert advice to support a Multi-disciplinary delivery of self management strategies for the Long Covid cohort of patients.Our Neuro Long term conditions service consists of Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants, Psychology, Epilepsy Specialist nurses, Parkinsons disease specialist nurses, MS nurse as well as a supportive admin team. Within the Long Covid pathway we work closely with Respiratory services, Speech and language, dietetics services as well as other services as the need arises.Candidates will have recent and relevant post registration NHS experience and an interest in Neuro rehabilitation and Long Covid. You will be able to evidence recent self-directed learning and development, and be a dynamic individual wo has a strong focus on improving the lives of our local population.Candidates will need to be able to travel to meet the needs of this post and will therefore need access to a vehicle for work. The post will provide an excellent opportunity for individuals that enjoy working as part of a close multi-disciplinary/multi agency team.
