Our mission is simple… to help the world Love Mondays.Every week, thousands of people across the UK start a new job – and it’s our job to help them get there.REED is a specialist provider of permanent, contract, temporary and outsourced recruitment solutionsWe are recruiting for a Fire Safety Officer to join a team based in BoltonKey ResponsibilitiesTo be able to produce or update a Fire Policy (including the following policies and procedures):• Fire Evacuation Plan• Fire Procedures – instructions to staff• Means of Escape / Firefighting Equipment• Staff with specific duties• Appointment of Fire Wardens / Incident Controller• Determining Fire Warden Responsible Zones• Evacuation of Visitors / Members of the Public• Contractors• Fire Drills• Staff Training• Fire Risk Assessment• Relevant Emergency Contact Numbers• Evacuation Chairs – Maintenance / Training for Use• Refuge Points• Assembly PointsKey skills and experience• Experience in undertaking Fire Risk Assessments• Fire Safety Officer or Manager experience• Someone who is either a member of IFSM (Institute of Fire Safety Managers) or• IFE (Institute of Fire Engineers).• Fire Service experienceThis temporary role is for an initial 3 months, working full-time paying £ 15.00 per hour PAYE.
