Job Description

My Client, an extremely successful healthcare organisation based in the Bolton area, are looking to recruit a driven and experienced Finance Analyst to add to their vibrant finance function on a permanent basis. The business has expanded rapidly over thelast few years and are aiming to bring in a dynamic Analyst to focus on business Mergers & Acquisitions.As the Finance Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering complex analytical reports to the senior management team whilst also providing support to the M&A team and senior stakeholders to meet financial and operational growth plansKey responsibilities include:

  • Production of weekly and monthly financial and analytical reports
  • Assume responsibility for financial, clinical and operational analysis on potential M&A targets
  • Prepare and support in the development and updates of business cases for M&A targets including the preparation of future business plans, financial modelling and scenario growth plans
  • Lead with the information gathering process for lead generation and target analysis.
  • Report on the performance and status of the M&A targets and the overall program of M&A activity
  • Provide a summary on specific areas of analysis linked to M&A targets, such as P&L breakdowns, contract delivery, synergy planning and cost analysis
  • Financial & commercial analysis and monitoring any variances or trends
  • Analysis of the P&L and developing key reports
  • Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Financial modelling
  • Prepare and submit presentations for senior management and director level
  • Other ad-hoc financial tasks
Key skills/experience required:
  • A background in Financial Analysis is imperative
  • Background in M&A would be beneficial
  • PQ CIMA/ACCA
  • Excellent analytical and observational skills
  • Strong MS Excel skills
  • Strong ability to multi-task
  • Meticulous and methodical approach
  • Ambitious and enthusiastic about development and progression
