Job Description

Engineering Maintenance TrainerSalary: Up to £35,000A leading further education provider in the North West is seeking a highly experienced Engineering Maintenance professional to join their team as a Tutor. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective training in eitherelectrical maintenance or mechanical maintenance to their apprentices at levels 2 and 3.Key Responsibilities:

  • Planning and delivering engineering maintenance training courses to apprentices both in the workshop and classroom.
  • Assessing and evaluating student progress.
  • Providing support and guidance to students to ensure they meet their full potential.
  • Keeping up-to-date with industry developments and incorporating them into the training program.
  • Ensuring all training materials are current and compliant with relevant regulations.
Key Requirements:
  • Strong industry experience in either electrical or mechanical maintenance.
  • Teaching qualification (preferred but not essential as training can be provided on the job).
  • Ability to engage and motivate students.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
