Job Description

Electrical Calibration Maintenance Operator £24.06 Umbrella Bolton,12 Month Our client is a world leader in missiles and missile systems, is a multi-national group with 10,000 employees, Their work is complex, challenging and innovative. It takes a range of professionals across the full engineering and commercial spectrumto carry it out.They are seeking an Electrical apprenticeship trained Electrical Calibration & Maintenance Operator for a 12 month initial contract for their site in Bolton. Role responsibilitiesInitial calibration, routine calibration and maintenance of test and measurement equipment.

  • Ensure that both factory and proprietary test and measuring equipment is maintained in line with current procedures.
  • Carry out calibration and repair tasks in accordance with departmental processes and procedures.
  • Maintain calibration test records and update databases.
  • Check and complete all paperwork associated with C&M tasks in line with the Department procedures.
  • Maintain to the highest level, workmanship standards and quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with all associated procedures applicable to the department.
  • Occasional travel to other sites
Role requirements / Experience specifically required:
  • Calibration experience
  • Experience using calibration test tools
  • The successful candidate should be a team player who is able to demonstrate customer focus.
  • You should also have proven planning and organising skills and be flexible and adaptable.
  • Relevant experience in a calibration & maintenance environment.
QualificationsElectrical apprenticeshipFormal technical Engineering/Craft Apprenticeship to NVQ Level 3/TR23/TR21,ONC Electronic/Electrical Engineering Relevant experience in a calibration & maintenance environment.
