Editor - Newsquest North West (Bolton)An exciting vacancy has arisen for an Editor to take the helm of our titles in Bolton.Were looking for a dynamic individual to take charge of our strong portfolio of websites and newspapers - including one of our leading daily news brands the Bolton News.Our preferred candidate will be someone with strong experience of working in the regional press, have an established background in leading editorial teams, have a firm grasp of multimedia journalism, whilst spearheading digital excellence alongside newspapersales.They will show how they have accelerated a cultural shift in their newsroom, transitioning from a print-focused operation to one where digital audience development is at the core of the news agenda and team, whilst in turn, finely balancing this to producequality printed newspapers that excel in sales performance.We need a leader who is capable of managing change,thinks strategically, develops talent through a coaching culture and is someone who will work with our team of journalists to further enhance their skills in a multimedia environment that optimises contentthrough engagement.
