Job Description

Our client based in Bolton is currently on the lookout for a highly motivated Data Analyst to join their team in Bolton where you will supportthe business with financial and performance analysis by producing scheduled reports, assisting with accountingtasks and fulfilling ad-hoc reporting requests from the Senior Management Team.Main duties and responsibilities:
  • Producing performance analysis reports in line with agreed schedules including:
  • Monthly sales KPIs for all applicable brands
  • Monthly Aged Stock Report
  • Monthly product sales analysis
  • Departmental performance KPIs
  • Monthly call reports
  • Conducting price and product analysis across price comparison websites
  • Responding to ad-hoc reporting requests for Senior Management
  • Creating detailed business development and prospect data to be issued to sales personnel for prospecting
The following experience will be beneficial for this role:
  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) with experience in a data analysis role
  • Experience of Power BI and similar business intelligence software is essential
  • Experience of using SQL is required
  • Knowledge of Sage 200 is advantageous
  • Highly numerate with an appropriate Maths / Statistics qualification or experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and demonstrate attention to detail
