Job Description

Credit Control Supervisor opportunity within a fast-growing SME Group offering variety, challenge and long-term career development and progression.THE COMPANYThis established SME Group has experienced significant year on year growth in turnover and profits, and is poised for considerable further expansion over the next 3 - 5 years through a combination of new contract wins and strategic acquisitions. The Groupoperates from several sites in the North-West region and provides specialist industrial services to a wide range of private and public businesses.THE OPPORTUNITYA new opportunity has arisen for an experienced and ambitious Credit Controller involving responsibility for managing a large customer base and overseeing a small growing team.As Credit Control Supervisor you responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a large customer base ranging from small businesses to multi-national Plcs
  • Overseeing a growing team of Credit Controllers (4-5 currently) responsible for managing accounts with balances ranging from £100s to £10000s on a monthly basis
  • Reporting to the Finance Director regarding debtors and problematic accounts
  • Involvement in updating and developing credit control policies and procedures
  • Implementing changes to procedures and ensuring the team work strictly to policies and best practice

THE PERSONYou will be a Credit Control professional able to demonstrate the following:
  • Several years Credit Control experience within an SME or Mid-market Corporate environment
  • Background within a relevant sector - industrial Services or Business Services, Logistics / Transport, Manufacturing etc
  • Strong Credit Control and Customer Relationship skills
