Job Description

COVER TEACHER Start 2024 positively impacting secondary classrooms in this highly rewarding Cover Teacher opportunity.This Cover Teacher role would see you setting up lessons and ensuring they run smoothly across a variety of subjects and year groups, enabling you to put into practice and build on your classroom skills. The Cover Teacher opportunity would suit a seasoned educator as well as a graduate who is seriously considering a career in teaching. This is a perfect role for someone who is eager to impact within the classroom but through a flexible route.Cover Teacher Responsibilities:

  • Cover classes and ensure lessons run smoothly
  • Work across Key Stage 3 & 4
  • Support a variety of subjects
  • Ensure lessons objectives are met
  • Welfare of students
Cover Subject Teacher Requirements:
  • Strong academic background
  • Confident classroom manner and behaviour management
  • Eligibility to work in the UK (must have valid visa/ overseas police check if relevant)
  • Relevant references covering your last two years of employment
  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS
