Job Description

COMMISSIONING ENGINEER £35,000 - £40,000 + OVERTIME + WORKING AWAY BONUS + ALL EXPENSES PAID + FLEXI-TIME + PENSION

  • This is a predominantly site based role, with occasioal travel to customer site.
  • Working on equipment across mainly Europe and the US.
  • Given good autonomy and flexibility.
  • Multi-skilled background required.
  • OTE potentially £60k+ depending on how much individual wants to go out.
Our client is part of a prestigious global engineering group and are considered as the market leader in the design and development of bespoke equipment for the pharmaceutical industry and have a very established and significant customer base. They have a meticulous approach to detail which forms a solid platform for delivering the production of high quality / high specification equipment.The role:This is a predominantely site based commissioning role, where you would follow the project to customer location. Many commissioing / service roles spend a lot of time away, this would be 80% based on site in Greater Manchester.To be right for this assignment you will need to have the following background:
  • Timely validation of Pharma equipment in the field and at headquarters to carry out Factory Acceptance Tests (F.A.Ts)
  • Executing documentation to GMP standards and client specific standards
  • Demonstrating the operation of the equipment to the client with a confident and professional attitude
  • Ensure that all equipment is calibrated and certified to comply with relevant legislation
  • Communicating with the client discussing opportunities for any post commissioning services that the company can offer and relaying these back through the relevant sales channels
Need to know:
  • Experience commissioning equipment or machinery, and familiar with FAT / SAT
  • Experience with IQ OQ beneficial
  • Have relevant educational qualifications and/or experience in Commissioning
  • Knowledge of all relevant test equipment
  • Knowledge of control systems
  • DOP Testing.
  • Filter knowledge
