Job Description

We are urgently seeking an experienced and skilled C19 Testing Programme Manager to support in Public Health by formulating the strategic direction, priorities and plans for the COVD-19 Test & Trace Programme in line with outcomes, statistics and epidemiology relating to the coronavirus pandemic for one of our local government clients based in BoltonThe C19 Testing Programme Manager will provide strategic leadership in one of to 2 key priorities - Contact Tracing and also Mass Testing. They will be responsible for ensuring effective public health standards and quality assurance and having overall integrity of the programme.They will define the programmes governance arrangements, ensuring effective quality assurance and the overall integrity of the programme and manage the programmes budget on behalf of the Executive Sponsor.Ideal candidates will demonstrate the following:

  • MUST hold a Masters Degree in Public Health or similar
  • A demonstrable, in-depth knowledge of health and social care issues in a public health arena
  • Experience with Covid or public health and safety projects
  • Experience in large scale programme management in complex, large scale environments.
  • Experience of rolling out programmes that are very new and untested, involving new technical solutions
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and management experience with heads of business, and both structured project management skills as well as am understanding of agile delivery.
  • Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling programmes
  • Sound business case development and approvals skills
  • A proven track record of leading teams in high profile programmes
