Job Description

Are you an experienced Bookkeeper, ideally with a background in an accountancy practice Would you like to work with a great team in a well established and successful company close to Bolton town centre If so, this could be the role for you. Alongwith a salary of £25,000 the role comes with a pension scheme and free parking. Your role as a Bookkeeper:Working as a part of a small team, you will be providing bookkeeping assistance to a range of customers across the North West. Duties will include:

  • Providing accounting services to a varied selection of companies from sole traders to large SMEs
  • Dealing with accounts to trial balance
  • VAT returns
  • Reconciling accounts
  • Assisting with year end
  • Liaising with clients regarding any queries
  • The role will include occasional visits to customer sites
We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills and experience:
  • Have recent experience in a similar Bookkeeper role in an accountancy practice
  • Accurate and numerate
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good communication skills
  • Experience working with Sage, Xero and Quickbooks
  • Comfortable with Word and Excel
  • As well as full time, there is scope to work in a similar role on a Part Time basis
