Job Description

Adecco Cramlington are delighted to represent their global and already established client in a search for a Business Analyst for a fixed term contract for 3 months - depending on ethics this could be extended and is a contract that sits with the client, and not pay-rolled through agency.Our clients are market leaders in sport equipment manufacturing directly to retail customers in UK and Europe. they operate from Northumberland & Czech Republic. The business is growing rapidly and is a dynamic fast changing environment.You would be based at Blyth and reporting to the Finance Manager.The individual will be responsible for:

  • Daily Reporting
  • Preparing daily profit and loss account and other key performance indicators
  • Reporting on performance and exceptional items
  • Improving the process
  • Cash posting
    • On a daily basis posting cash receipts to the sales ledger:
  • Credit control
    • Assisting the Finance Manager with credit control particularly:
  • Setting up direct debit requests
  • Assisting European account managers with debt collection
    • Analysing monthly orders and comparing them with stock availability and deliveries. Developing a plan to maximise service level. Liaising with customer for one key account.
  • Order Processing
    • Assisting the sales team where necessary with posting orders.
  • General Commercial Support
    • Providing sales reports and analyses including comparison of orders and deliveries
  • General assistance
    • Requires excellent excel skills and comfortable in using accounting systems. Our client uses Exchequer, training will be provided.The working hours are Monday to Thursday 8-4.30pm, and Friday 2pm.
