Job Description

PMP Recruitment are currently recruiting for Production Operators within a manufacturing site near Blackwood - NP11.The positions involve working on the production line and ensuring machines are set to produce products to the required specification / standard.Candidates will require previous experience within production or machine operating.Pay Rates :£11.32ph - £13.20 (overtime)Main duties:

  • Loading product and to ensure machines are set and kept running to produce carpet to the required specification.
  • Using tools with accuracy by ensuring ends are not missed out.
  • To re-thread run-out yarns and trace and count rouge ends.
  • Operating machines
  • Maintaining good housekeeping in and around your work area.
  • To complete all relevant documentation
The role involves handling products varying in weights from 2kg -5.5kg throughout the day.Shift Patterns / Hours:The positions are based on a three shift pattern of days, nights and afternoons rotating weekly,Days: Mon-Thurs 6am-2pm, Fri 6am-12 noonNights: Mon-Thurs 10pm-6am, Fri 6pm-12 midnightAfternoons: Mon-Thurs 2pm-10pm, Fri 12 noon-6pmContract length:Temp to Perm after 12 weeks for the right candidateCOVID-19 considerations:We are a Covid safe site. Masks are worn on site and we have hand sanitising stations.COVID-19 precaution(s):
  • Personal protective equipment provided or required
