Job Description

Treasury AnalystBlackburn (with hybrid working)To £55,000 + Bonus (with an opportunity for more for the right candidate)Our client is an ambitious and innovative financial services business based in Blackburn, which has experienced rapid and sustained growth over the last few years. Looking to continue this success, they are looking to appoint a Treasury Analyst to join acommitted and talented team.The finance function, spearheaded by a talented CFO will play a pivotal role in this growth, and the Treasury Analyst will ensure the smooth running of the businesss daily operations, monitor the financial and liquidity risks and produce the external transactionalreturns.Reporting the Head of FP&A, the role will be varied and will allow the incumbent to grow with the business and responsibilities will include:

  • Maintain and improve complex cash flow models and analysis tools.
  • Manage new funding transactions and structures.
  • Monitor cash and receivables across multiple facilities on a daily basis working with the wider teams to recommend draws to optimise liquidity.
  • Calculate and initiate payments across all funding and hedging facilities.
  • Be responsible for delivering all reports to various funders and institutional investors in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Build relationships and liaise directly with multiple external parties including banks, investors and financial advisors.
It is essential you are an individual who can work using your own initiative whilst working to tight deadlines and be able to demonstrate the agility to work in an ever-changing business. Previous treasury experience is essential and experience of securedfunding or securitisation would be beneficial. Ideally you will be qualified ACT, ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or working towards).In return you will receive:
