My client is searching for a Trainee Cost Draftsman to join their Blackburn, Lancashire offices.We are looking for someone who is committed and hardworking and who is able to operate in what in a pressurised and motivated team environment and has the ability to regularly meet and exceeding targets.This Role is an ideal start for Graduate candidates looking to take the first step in the Legal world.The role is open to candidates who are looking to work on either a full-time or part-time basis.Main Duties and Responsibilities:The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to:Preparing Claims, both fixed fee and escape bills, for payment by the Legal Aid Agency. Collating and checking supporting assessment documentation. Checking that a bill is compliant with CCMS Checklist. Preparing POAs for profit costs.In addition, you will be required to provide support and advice to fee earners and to other members of the billing team where required.Skills / Knowledge Requirements: Computer literate; Excellent communication and IT Skills; Understanding of the Costs Assessment Guidance; The ability to work on your own with minimum supervision.
