We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Trading Assistant to join our growing eCommerce function in Blackburn. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £18,203 to £20,231 per annum, plus benefits.We are a 3rd generation family run business which means our family and people are at the core of everything we do. We welcome new ideas from our employees as we are not afraid of change.With our 70-year plus strong heritage in wallpaper, at Graham & Brown we have design and colour at the heart of our business and we are committed to contemporary, leading-edge design.The past 24 months have seen a surge in eCommerce for Graham & Brown with massive growth opportunities for our websites.As our Trading Assistant, you will assist across all day-to-day tasks as required, supporting the efficient running and ongoing optimisation of the sites. You will focus predominantly across our Graham & Brown websites where we trade across different localised sites to include the UK, USA/Canada, France, Germany, Holland, Australia, New Zealand and the rest of the world!As our Trading Assistant, you will be responsible for:- Loading new products across the sites to a high standard- Updating/amending service messaging as required to include delivery and returns- Being the first port of call for any customer service queries forwarded to us- Assisting in updates across all page types to ensure relevant content is shown in the correct part of the customer journey- Assisting in the setting up of on-site offers to include amendments to price books- Testing any new promotions to make sure they are correct and displaying as they should- Assisting in amendments needed on-site to optimise what people are searching for- Working closely with the Digital Marketing team to ensure any affiliate/marketing codes are set up and tested- Assisting in briefing SEO blogs/content to the design team- Completing weekly web walks to ensure that the website is correct and in line with the customer and trading needs and assisting in any fixes/developments needed- Completing frequent competitor reviews to ensure that content activity is in line of market-leading- Updating on-site review image galleries to make sure all new content is labelled correctlyWhat we are looking for in our ideal Trading Assistant:- Passion, drive and the will to succeed- The ability to work cross-functionally- A high level of attention to detail- Strong communication skills- The ability to learn fast and be adaptable to new challenges- Previous educational experience linked to business/eCommerce or similar previous work experience (advantageous)Some of the benefits you can expect to receive as our Trading Assistant are life assurance, pension, generous staff discount, free car parking, and flexi-time!If you feel you have the knowledge, experience, and commitment to join our market-leading brand as our Trading Assistant, then apply now!
