Job Description

The Talent Crowd are recruiting for male support workers to work throughout East Lancashire, you will be supporting vulnerable adults from a forensic background who have learning disabilities and or mental health conditions.PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A MALE ONLY SERVICE-Therefore only males can work at this service.The ideal candidate would need to be open minded and would have the ability to manage challenging behaviour in a calm and professional manor. We have various shift patterns available for this service such as early, late, long days, and sleep shifts on a part- and full-time basis.Requirements

  • A minimum of six months UK paid healthcare experience in the past two years.
  • Experience of working with adults from a secure or forensic background
  • Experience of working with adults living with Learning Disabilities and or Mental health conditions
  • To have the ability to be flexible, understanding, and empathetic
  • to be able to work as part of a team and the ability to work independently, lone working is a requirement.
  • To have the ability to be proactive and engaging with service users
  • To have the right to work in the UK.
  • To be a driver with a UK licence (desirable)
