Are you looking for a rewarding new opportunity Support Worker, Supported Living, Full time & Part time hours availableOur ServiceThe Moorings | Leonard CheshireWe have 12 independent living flats based in the centre of Garstang, Preston. Our tenants enjoy an independent lifestyle. We Support them to live a sociable and fulfilled life of their choosing whether that be attending crafting events, physical activitiessuch as swimming, shopping lunches out. Cinema trips are a regular occurrence as well. Day to day duties will include medication management aspects of personal care, support with mealtime i.e support with cooking and learning new culinary dishes. Companionshipand conversation is a big part of your role, sometimes just lending an ear can be all that is required. No day will be the same. Close to local amenities, 3 supermarkets and a local market in the centre of the village. Brilliant public access links. Bus stopsa 5 minute walk away taking you into Preston, Lancaster direction. You will be closely supported by a strong existing team, managed by a well thought of Supported Living Manager.You will receive ongoing training and development to build your skills, experience and career.Its a job that can be challenging at times but is balanced by the unrivalled sense of long-term satisfaction. This is an opportunity to be creative and feel inspired, both by your colleagues and the people you support. It is a career that you can feel proudof!No experience needed!You dont need any specific qualifications or experience although experience of providing personal care is advantageous. You will, however, need plenty of enthusiasm and passion for our work!To be successful in this role you will need:
