Job Description

Castlefield Recruitment are working in partnership with a Public sector organisation in the Lancashire regionwho are seeking to recruit an Social media officer to their team on a permanent basis. This is a perfect opportunity for a recent graduate or someonewith current social media experience.The main duties of this role are as follows;

  • Creating content for social media and digital resources to promote the company/company activities
  • Report analytics around engagement from social media posts
  • Assist with website format and ensuring the company website is up to date with engaging news, information, resources and events
  • To oversea all engagement over all social media platforms
  • Ensuring KPIs are met
  • To create material for social media such as images, graphics, videos ect
  • Contribute to plans to drive digital growth
If this role seems of interest the following skills/experience would be required;
  • Equivalent to GCSE level 5 or above or Degree/Diploma
  • Understanding of digital media strategy
  • Google Analytics experience
  • Creative thinker and innovator
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Ability to prioritise a heavy workload
  • Able to pass a BDS check as this check will be carried out to any applicants offered the role
