Job Description

Job Title: Sales Admin / Business Development PersonnelLocation: Blackburn, LancashireSalary: £23,000 - £28,000 per annum + Annual BonusJob Type: Full Time, PermanentWorking Days: Monday - Friday, Office hours 8am to 5pm (Working Times to be discussed at interview)About us:The Grass Factory distributes artificial grass to trade and retail customers covering the whole of the UK with a strong local customer base in the Northwest.About the role:The Grass Factory is seeking a new team member with good communication and organisational skills with innovative ideas to help with distribution and sales.The successful applicant will be self-motivated, articulate and able to prioritise tasks efficiently.Key responsibilities within the role include but not limited to include:

  • Initial point of contact and support for customers
  • Receiving and handling incoming enquiries via phone, email and website contact forms
  • Preparation and sending out samples
  • Following up on sample requests, (B2C & B2B)
  • Processing customer sales orders through to the point of despatch
  • Sales expansion
  • Sales support to new account holders welcoming them to the business and ensuring their needs are met
  • Sales support to existing account holders
  • Adding new customers and updating customer information in the CRM system
About you:Essential Skills:
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Good literacy, numeracy skills and Microsoft office
  • Customer focused
  • Self-motivated and independent achiever
  • Good Team Member -respect for colleagues and customers.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Strong decision-making skills
Preferable Skills:
  • Sales experience
  • Able to use account software
  • Familiar with CRM Systems
  • Experience in social media, marketing, and basic web-management
  • Innovative ideas to improve team efficiency and company expansion
