Job Description

Here at Graham & Brown, we are looking for an enthusiastic Sales Account Coordinator to join the Sales team, based at our Head Office in Blackburn. You will join us on a full-time,permanent basis. As ourSales Account Coordinator, you will support the Sales areas of Graham & Brown, to achieve the targeted results by providing consistent and organised admin support to the National Account Managers and the Customer Accounts.You will also effectively analyse and interpret varied sources of data and information concerning; Sales, Stock management and Market Research, in order to produce accurate recommendations and actions to the commercial function of the business and so byimproving profitability and performance.Our Sales Account Coordinatorwill have the following responsibilities:
  • Maintaining the Product Portfolio: New Line Forms, Packaging and Timber Forms, Rackplans, Stock Allocation Forms, Excel CSA
  • Gathering and recording EPOS data for each Account, highlighting sales of the new ranges, promotional activity and general performance to support the Sales Team. This is the key analysis that the Managers rely on to monitor the account performance
  • Updating Monthly and Quarterly Sales Forecasting figures in Excel and a Forecast Model. Keeping figures in line with the data received from Customers. This is then used to build budgets and used by Production to plan activity ahead
  • Responsible for the collection of all competitor product to update the range boards in the category rooms following range reviews. These rooms are key and used for internal meetings and for important Customer visits
  • Developing strong, friendly and professional relationships with the Buying, Merchandising and Supply Chain Teams
  • Responsible for Store Audits to update the business on retail prices, new competitor product and changes to retail environment
  • Assisting the Sales Team in all preparations for Customer visits to Head Office and being involved in the meetings when needed
  • Visits to Customer Head Offices when required to assist the Sales Managers in meetings
Experience and skills required by our Sales Account Coordinator:
  • A good standard of numeracy
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Patient, diplomatic and approachable
  • Must have the confidence to take on new responsibilities
  • Organised, attentive, disciplined and adaptable
  • Enjoys problem solving and is persistent in the pursuit of finding the best solutions
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining meticulous attention to detail, acting with judgement, based on wide ranging experience and ability
  • Accurate, timely and organised administratively
  • PC literate to include detailed working knowledge of the following applications:-Microsoft Excel – strong knowledge required-Microsoft Word-Microsoft Power Point
  • Ability to work away from home when required – travelling with the Account Managers (or alone) to HQ / Stores or Exhibitions
  • Hold a full and clean driving licence
  • Ability to form strong/friendly professional relationships with internal and external customers at all levels
  • Ability to utilise experience and support Account Manager’s decisions
