Job Description

Our client, a specialist manufacturer of medical devices, is looking for an experienced engineer with a focus on NPD. The role will work closely with the production team, developing products from pilot to production phase. This will involve leading yourown projects, speccing new equipment, developing and upscaling processes from lab to production and ongoing validation activities to ensure compliance with customer brief and relevant legislation / best practice.The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate: -

  • Degree calibre education (or equivalent industry experience) in a relevant engineering discipline or similar
  • Strong experience of working in a regulated manufacturing environment
  • CAD / Solidworks experience
  • Knowledge of relevant ISO/standards relating to medical devices (ISOs 13485, 14971, etc)
  • Relevant project management and process design skills
