Job Description

Dinner Lady is an award winning premium global brand, manufacturing and providing Vape products to the specialist vape stores and leading retailers like ASDA, Argos, SPAR and EG and across 110 countries. In just 5 years,Dinner Lady has built and an enviable reputation for manufacturing premium quality products and has won more than 50 awards internationally.We are looking to add a smart, personable individual who has bags of energy, integrity and professionalism to become our Procurement ManagerPurpose of the Role:Ensure lean, efficient, and cost-effective supply chain managementRoles and Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, direction & development to the procurement team
  • Create, develop, implement and embed robust procurement processes to align with business goals and objectives
  • Establish and monitor supplier performance
  • Negotiate, implement and manage supplier contracts, including risk mitigation and triggering contractual clauses where required
  • Ongoing reviews of Suppliers and Supply Chains to ensure any new suppliers are engaged with and developed effectively
  • Capture procurement requirements from the head of inventory and the sales divisions
  • Management of all inventory purchase orders through the entire PO process
  • Coordinate the purchase of inventory to balance efficiency, risk mitigation and cost by leveraging price breaks, negotiations and supplier credit terms
  • Ensure inventory is purchased to meet the business inventory buffer levels
  • Coordinate the business stock request process delivering inventory for customer requirements within the defined SLAs
  • Agree and manage the COGS budgets with the finance team, contributing to both cash-flow and P&L forecasts
  • Ensure robust communication channels with other members of the operations division as well as the wider business
  • Contribute to GP enhancement projects by working to reduce COGS
  • Work with the other operational Heads to create a lean inventory management system
  • Work with the other operation Heads to deliver QONTIF to all business customers
  • Work towards and report on KPIs including but not limited to; supplier lead times and performance, stock request lead times (by type)
