Calling all Teaching Assistants! Are you looking to gain more experience working within a school Do you have experience working within a school or specifically working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) If so, this opportunity for a PrimarySchool Teaching Assistant might be for you.Job description: This role includes working as Teaching Assistant and working closely with a Year 3 class in an OFSTED rated ‘Good’ school in the Blackburn area with a 1.5 form entry.Responsibilities as a Teaching Assistant in this school would include: • Working closely with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), who require additional support in the Year 3 class, delivering interventions and small group activities. • Liaising with the class teacher on the development of the children and helping to plan and organise the lessons for the following day. • Insuring children are safeguarded in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023.• Providing 1-1 support to pupils who need extra help with their learning. • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
