Job Description

Axon Moore are pleased to partner with an international business based in Blackburn as they look to recruit a Payroll Manager. This role will take ownership of the UK monthly payrolls or the different parts of the company, this is a pivotal role as youwill deal with all queries in timely manner

  • Process multiple monthly payroll ensuring adequate checks before submitting for approval and processing payments on bank portal
  • Process starters and leavers accurately, including calculations for holiday pay adjustments
  • Ensure collation of timesheets in line with pay cut-off dates
  • Ensure all pay elements including overtime, sick pay, maternity, paternity and unpaid leave calculations are accurate
  • Produce payroll reports and assist in preparation of payroll journal for posting to finance
  • Produce monthly payslips and annual P60 documents for all employees
  • Raise internal employee cost recharges to our parent company
  • Maintain payroll and holiday system master data
  • Liaise closely with Company pension scheme administrators
  • Complete required statutory filings such as RTI, P11Ds, PSA and annual filings
  • Administer Salary sacrifice calculations and assist with future benefit opportunities
  • Keep up to date with relevant regulations/legislation and determine the impact of any changes, taking action to implement where necessary
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a payroll team or payroll practice will a strong attention to detail, strong communication skills required. Experience of using SAGE would be advantageous but not essential.
